I had a significant knee injury while skiing. My orthopedist said it didn’t require surgery, just lots of physical therapy. It had been suggested that pilates would make a good addition to my recovery, so I went to Victoria Bader and we went to work.
I considered myself in pretty good physical shape prior to seeing her, but she took me to task and tested me. I used muscles I thought I’d never used before! It was remarkable what I’ve been able to achieve in a few one hour sessions per week. I’ve lost several pounds. I’ve had sessions where it was more about stretching and balance, and then there were some where I broke a real sweat!
I have definition in my glutes, shoulders, and stomach which I haven’t seen in my life. But it’s not just about looking good. She also pays strict attention strengthening my injured knee and alignment of my body in general. She’s been a tremendous asset in my recovery and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for physical improvement.
